Welcome to our graduate section. These pages are designed to give you an idea about who we are, what we do and what we are looking for in our graduates, so do take some time to have a look around and discover more about us.

The Organisation

Syndicate 4020 and Syndicate 3902 are young syndicates operating within the internationally recognised Lloyd’s insurance market. We specialise in insurance and reinsurance for clients worldwide and in a number of diverse classes of business, namely Marine, Energy, Property and Casualty.

People are the key to our business and they are at the centre of all we do. We thrive on the relationships we build both within our teams and with our clients. People in our organisation come from a wide range of backgrounds but we all share the same business ethos. We are commercially focussed and understand risk; we value teamwork but also appreciate individual accountability and strive to deliver best value at all times.

The Programme

During your first year you will be on a rotational programme working in a variety of teams, enabling you to gain an overview of our entire business. The programme is designed to enable you to understand the processes involved in working for a successful Lloyd’s syndicate before moving into one of our specialist areas to focus your career.

The Requirements

We are looking for graduates with an outstanding academic record – strong numerical and analytical skills are essential. Graduates must come from numerate degree disciplines and be predicted or have achieved a 2:1 or above. The academics are not enough however, we are looking for you to demonstrate a variety of interpersonal skills too.
